Bunny Pom Pom Amigurumi

VIDEO TUTORIAL


Materials:

  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • Worsted weight yarn
  • I used: El gato expres
  • Yellow
  • Pink
  • Black and pink for nose and eyebrows
  • 2 (6 mm) safety eyes
  • Pom Pom maker 35 mm
  • Yarn Needle
  • Stitch Marker
  • Scissors
  • Pins
  • Fiberfill or stuffing of choice
  • Finished size about 30 cm tall
  • Using similar yarn

Abbreviations:

  • MR= magic ring
  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
  • dec = decrease (sc 2 together)
  • st (s) = stitches
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • rep = repeat
  • * * = repeat work between asterisks as indicated
  • (  ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of your round

 

NOTE:

  • Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker

 

PATTERN

ARMS MAKE (2) YELLOW YARN

 

1.- Start 4 sc in a magic ring (4)

2.- inc in each st around (8)

3 – 14.- sc in each st around (8)

15.- fold the arm and make 3 sc

both sides together to close.

 

EARS MAKE (2)

STAR WITH PINK YARN

1.- 5 sc in a magic ring (5)

2.-  sc in each st around (5)

3.- inc in each st around (10)

4.-  sc in each st around (10)

5.- *1 sc, inc* rep 5 times (15)

6 – 7.- sc in each st around (15)

CHANGE TO YELLOW YARN

8 – 9.- sc in each st around (15)

CHANGE TO PINK YARN

10.- sc in each st around (15)

CHANGE TO YELLOW YARN

11-12.-  sc in each st around (15)

13.- *1 sc, dec* rep 5 times (10)

14 – 15.- sc in each st around

16.- fold the ear and make 4 sc, both sides together to close

fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing

 

Fold in half and sew the corners together.

Sew both in the top of the head

 

LEGS MAKE (2) YELLOW YARN

 1.- 5 sc in a magic ring (5)

2.- inc in each st around (10)

3 – 15.- sc in each st around (10)

Do not cut the yarn after you have finished the

Second leg, stuff firmly.

 

CH 4 now join the legs together place your stitch marker in the first sc

16.- sc in each st around (28)

17.- *13 sc, inc* rep 2 times (30)

18.- sc in each st around (30)

19.- *4 sc, inc* rep 6 times (36)

20 – 21.- sc in each st around (36)

22.- *4 sc, dec* rep 6 times (30)

23.- sc in each st around (30)

24.- *3 sc, dec* rep 6 times (24)

25.- sc in each st around (24)

26.- *2 sc, dec* rep 6 times (18)

27.- sc in each st around (18)

28.- 3 sc, we place the arm to join the body

Through the 4 strands and we make 3 sc, continued with 6 sc

Place the second arm and make 3 sc and finish the round with 3 sc (18)

 

 

29.- *1 sc, dec* rep 6 times (12)

¡Start stuffing as you go!

30.- sc in each st around (12)

31.- *1 sc, inc* rep 6 times (18)

32.- *2 sc, inc* rep 6 times (24)

33.- *3 sc, inc* rep 6 times (30)

34.- *4 sc, inc* rep 6 times (36)

35 – 42.- sc in each st around (36)

  • Place safety eyes between round 39 and 40. 4 sts apart.
  • Sew eyebrows round 41
  • Sew nose between round 38 and 37
  • ¡Start stuffing as you go!

43.- *4 sc, dec* rep 6 times (30)

44.- *3 sc, dec* rep 6 times (24)

45.- *2 sc, dec* rep 6 times (18)

46.- *1 sc, dec* rep 6 times (12)

47.- * dec * rep 6 times (6)

Stuff firmly fasten off

POM POM MAKER (2)

PINK YARN

With your pom pom maker grab your pink yarn and wrap around about 50 times each side.

 

Trim the yarn and make a cute little circle

 

CH 40, and sew the pom pom in both sides

 

Wrap around the neck and make a knot.

 

TAIL

Make another pom pom, attach tail to the back of the bunny’s body
