Frida cup cozy easy and fun to make.

- Crochet hook 5.5 mm
- Worsted weight yarn
- I used: Estambre del bosque Nieve in colors
- skin or pale # 27
- Black # 99
- Red # 78
- Yellow # 39
- blue Turquoise # 10
- Yarn needle
- Rnd = Round
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- st = stitch
- ( ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of your round
Measures 4’’ wide x 3’’ tall
4 hdc = 1 inch
– Start row with ch 2 and hdc in the same stitch.
– Ch 2 doesn’t count as hdc.
– Finish row with sl st in the first hdc.
Using pale yarn, ch 27
Or enough to just fit around your cup remember it will stretch a bit
Form a circle by making a sl st in the first ch, be careful not to twist the row of ch stitches.
Rnd 1.- Ch 2 and hdc in the same chain, hdc all the way around, sl st in the first hdc (27)
Rnd 2-6.- Repeat round 1 (27)
Change to black yarn
Rnd 7-8.- Repeat round 1 (27)
Join with sl st to first hdc, fasten off.
FLOWERS make 3
Color of your choice, make 10 chains
1. – sl st in the 2nd ch from hook and 1 sc in the same chain.
2.-Next ch) 1 sc, 1 dc same chain.
3.-Next ch) 1 dc, 1 sc same chain.
4.-Next ch) 1 sc, 1 dc same chain.
5.-Next ch) 2 dc same chain.
6.-Next ch) 1 sc, 1 dc same chain.
7.-Next ch) 2 dc same chain.
8.-Next ch) 1 sc, 1 dc same chain.
9.-Next and last ch) 1 sc, and sl st same chain.
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Roll it up the strip to form the rose to sew between rounds 7 and 8
Using the pictures as a guide embroider the eyebrows and eyelashes.
Eyelashes between rounds 3-4
Eyebrows between rounds 5-6
Fasten off and hide ends.
