¡Hi everybody! now we are going to crochet HULK another character for our Avengers collection.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate

SKILLS YOU NEED:

  • Magic ring, chains, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increase, invisible decrease, front loop only, back loop only, slip stitch
  •  How to change yarn color
  • Basic sewing and embroidery skills
  • How to join parts

 

MATERIALS:

  • Hook N° 4 mm
  • Worsted weight acrylic yarn #4
  • I used: El Gato expres
  • Purple/ 30g. approx.
  • Black / 30g. approx.
  • Green / 70g. approx
  • Black super fine yarn
  • 2 (12mm) safety eyes
  • yarn needle
  • stitch marker
  • scissors
  • pins
  • Fiberfill or stuffing of choice

SIZE: Finished size about 28 cm tall using similar yarn

NOTE:

  • Choose your favorite worsted weight yarn
  • Work in continuous rounds
  • Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker
  • Do not join rounds with a slip stitch or turn unless stated otherwise.
  • If you normally crochet loosely, you may want to use a smaller hook size to tighten your stitches up.
  • Start stuffing as you go

ABBREVIATIONS:

  • Rnd = Round
  • MR= magic ring
  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • hdc = half double crochet
  • dc = double crochet
  • inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
  • dec = decrease (sc 2 together)
  • inv dec = invisible decrease
  • FLO = front loop only
  • BLO = back loop only
  • sts (s) = stitches (s)
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • rep = repeat
  • * * = repeat work between asterisks as indicated
  • ( ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of your round

 

PATTERN 

ARMS MAKE 2 GREEN COLOR YARN

Rnd 1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

Rnd2.- inc in each stitch around (12)

Rnd 3.- *2 sc, inc* rep 4 times (16)

Rnd 4.- 1  sc in each stitch around (16)

Rnd 5.- 2 inv dec, 12 sc (14)

Rnd 6.- 2 inv dec, 10 sc (12)

Rnd 7.- 2 inv dec, 8 sc (10)

Rnd 8-10.- 1  sc in each stitch around (10)

Rnd 11-13.- 4 sc, 6 hdc (10)

Stuff slightly

Rnd 14.- 2 inv dec, 6 sc (8)

Stuff firmly

Rnd 15.- fold the arm and make 3 sc, both sides together to close.

Fasten off and make another one.

LEGS MAKE 2 GREEN YARN

Rnd 1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

Rnd 2.- inc in each stitch around (12)

Rnd 3.- *1 sc, inc* rep 6 times (18)

Rnd 4.- *2 sc, inc* rep 6 times (24)

Rnd 5.- BLO  1  sc in each stitch around (24)

Rnd 6.- 8 sc, 4 inv dec, 8 sc (20)

Rnd 7.- 6 sc, 4 inv dec, 6 sc (16)

Rnd 8-11.- 1  sc in each stitch around (16)

Rnd 12.- With Green make 3 sc, Change to Purple and make 1 sc,  rep 4 times (16)

Rnd 13.- With Purple make 3 sc, Change to Green and make 1 sc,  rep 4 times (16)

WITH PURPLE YARN

Rnd 14-15.- 1  sc in each stitch around (16)

Stuff firmly, fasten off .

Make a second leg, DO NOT cut the yarn at the end.

BODY

WITH PURPLE  YARN

Second leg make 6 sc and chain 3.  now join the legs,  count 3 sc of the first leg.  see picture # 3 , place your stitch marker in the first sc.

Rnd 16.-  Make 16 sc , 3 sc  over the chain taking only one strand , 16 sc , 3 sc  over the chain taking only one strand (38)

Rnd 17-18.- 1  sc in each stitch around (38)

Rnd 19.- * 17 sc, inv dec* rep 2 times (36)

Rnd 20-22.- 1  sc in each stitch around (36)

CHANGE TO GREEN YARN 

Rnd 23.- BLO  * 4 sc, dec * rep 6 times (30)

Rnd 24-26.- 1  sc in each stitch around (30)

Rnd 27.- * 3 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (24)

Rnd 28.- 1  sc in each stitch around (24)

Rnd 29.- Make 6 sc, we place the arm to join the body through the 4 strands and we make 3 sc, continued with 9 sc place the second arm and make 3 sc and finish the round with 3 sc (24)

¡Start stuffing as you go!

Rnd 30.- * inv dec, 2 sc* rep 6 times (18)

Rnd 31-32.- 1  sc in each stitch around (18)

Before we continued, with green yarn sew some  abs

Now we continue with purple yarn in the back side of round # 23

FLO:  *7 sc, 3 chains * rep 4 times, ch 3 and 8 sc.   sl st in the first sc.

Fasten off

WE CONTINUE WITH THE HEAD 

GREEN YARN

Rnd 33.- * 2 sc, inc * rep 6 times (24)

Rnd 34.- * 3 sc, inc * rep 6 times (30)

Rnd 35.- * 4 sc, inc * rep 6 times (36)

Rnd 36.- * 5 sc, inc * rep 6 times (42)

Rnd 37.-* 6 sc, inc * rep 6 times (48)

Rnd 38-47 .- 1  sc in each stitch around (48)

¡Start stuffing as you go!

  • Place safety eyes between round 44 and 43. 5 stitches apart
  • Embroider nose between rounds 42 to 41
  • Embroider mouth in round 39

  • Embroider eyebrows in round 44 to 45

Rnd 48.-* 6 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (42)

Rnd 49.-* 5 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (36)

Rnd 50.-* 4 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (30)

Rnd 51.-* 3 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (24)

Rnd 52.-* 2 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (18)

Stuff firmly

Rnd 53.-* 1 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (12)

Rnd 54.- * inv dec * rep 6 times (6)

Stuff firmly, fasten off.

EARS MAKE 2 GREEN YARN 

1.- 5 sc in a magic ring (5)

We close it in half to form an ear, we make 1 chain and cut leaving a long thread.

  • Sew ears between rounds 43 to 41
  • With 5 stitches apart between the eye and the ear.

HAIR BLACK YARN

Rnd 1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

Rnd 2.- inc in each stitch around (12)

Rnd 3.- inc in each stitch around (24)

Rnd 4.- * 3 sc, inc * rep 6 times (30)

Rnd 5.- * 4 sc, inc * rep 6 times (36)

Make 4 chains, start in the 2nd chain from the hook and make 1sc,  and 2 hdc.  skip 1 stitch and make a sl st in the next st. Repeat the same steps until you have 4 strands of hair.

Make 8 chains, start in the 3rd chain from the hook and make 5 dc and 1 hdc.  skip 1 stitch and make a sl st in the next st. Make only 1 strand of hair. 

Make 11 chains, start in the 3rd chain from the hook and make 8 dc and 1 hdc.  skip 1 stitch and make a sl st in the next st. make only 1 strand of hair. 

Make 16 chains, start in the 3rd chain from the hook and make 13 dc and 1 hdc.  skip 1 stitch and make a sl st in the next st. Repeat the same steps until you have 10 strands of hair. 

Make 11 chains, start in the 3rd chain from the hook and make 8 dc and 1 hdc.  skip 1 stitch and make a sl st in the next st. Make only  1 strand of hair. 

Make 8 chains, start in the 3rd chain from the hook and make 5 dc and 1 hdc.  skip 1 stitch and make a sl st in the next st. Make only  1 strand of hair. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

  • Pin the top of  hair with the short hair in the front, sew the top of the hair in round 49 to 50 
  •  Then pin the bottom row of the hair equally, sew the bottom hair covering all spaces.

Solo quería darte las gracias por hacer tan rápido lo que te pedí, Hulk , me ha echo mucha ilusión verlo en tu blog estoy súper contenta y además quiero que sepas que en estos días que estamos viviendo con lo del Coronavirus, no poder salir de casa por la cuarentena establecida por el gobierno, la manera de sobrellevarlo es hacer algo que nos gusten y de esa manera se pasa el día más ameno por eso seguirte y hacer todos tus amigurumis de súper héroes y princesa para ,mis nietos, es un gran reto . Graciassssssss , entre todos podemos .

Me gustaría que por favor hicieras las muñecas LOL surprise mi hijita quiere una y a mí no me salen los ojos es frustrante por qué me gusta ser perfeccionista.
    Hice a Elsa y a su hermana Anna pero no pude terminar el reto a tiempo todo por una tontería. Te cuento que termine la muñeca a tiempo pero le hice el cabello de otro color y mi hija no me permitió publicarla y pues por buscar el color exacto me tomó más tiempo y al fin y al cabo jamás 😔 encontré el color y pues decidí dejarla así. De todas formas se ve hermosa.
