Pokeheart Amigurumi

POKEHEART AMIGURUMI

WATCH THE VIDEO TUTORIAL 

Materials:

  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • Worsted weight yarn
  • I used: El gato expres
  • Red
  • White
  • Black
  • Black and pink (sport weight yarn) for mouth and cheeks
  • 2 (6 mm) safety eyes
  • Yarn Needle
  • Stitch Marker
  • Scissors
  • Pins
  • Fiberfill or stuffing of choice
  • Finished size about 14 cm tall
  • Using similar yarn

Abbreviations:

  • MR= magic ring
  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
  • dec = decrease (sc 2 together)
  • st (s) = stitches
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • rep = repeat
  • * * = repeat work between asterisks as indicated
  • (  ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of your round

 

NOTE:

  • Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker

 

With this pattern you can also make some keychains just by changing the thickness of the yarn and the hook.

I used:

  • Sport weight yarn
  • Crochet hook 2 mm
  • Keychain ring
  • Finished size about 9 cm tall

 

FIRST PART OF THE HEART MAKE (2) 

1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring  (6)

2.- inc in each st around (12)

3.- * 1 sc, inc * rep 6 times (18)

4.- * 2 sc, inc * rep 6 times (24)

5.- * 3 sc, inc * rep 6 times (30)

6 – 9.- sc in each st around (30)

fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing

we put both pieces together

 

Place your stitch marker in the first sc

10 – 11.- sc in each stitch around (60)

Before we continue we are going to close the part that is divided by the center with our needle and with the long thread that we left in the first part we closed it without leaving spaces.

  

 

12.- * dec, 3 sc * rep 12 times (48)

13.- sc in each st around (48)

14.- * dec, 2 sc * rep 12 times (36)

CHANGE TO BLACK YARN 

15 – 16.- sc in each st around (36)

CHANGE TO WHITE YARN

17.- sc in each st around (36)

18.- * 4 sc, dec * rep 6 times (30)

19.- sc in each st around (30)

¡Start stuffing as you go!

20.- * 3 sc, dec * rep 6 times (24)

21.- sc in each st around (24)

22.- * 2 sc, dec * rep 6 times (18)

23.- sc in each st around (18)

24.- * 1 sc, dec * rep 6 times (12)

  • Place safety eyes between round 19 and 20. 4 sts apart.
  • Sew cheeks between round 20 to 21
  • Sew mouth between round 21 to 22
  • ¡Start stuffing as you go!

25.- sc in each st around  (12)

26.- * dec* rep 6 times (6)

Stuff firmly, fasten off

 

CIRCLE WHITE YARN 

1.- 6 sc in a magic ring  (6)

2.- inc in each st around  (12)

CHANGE TO BLACK YARN 

3.- * 1 sc, inc * rep 6 times (18)

fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing,  between round 13 to 18

TO MAKE POKEHEART LOVE 

You will need

1 button heart shape and  we sew it to the pokeheart

 

CHEEKS OPTIONAL

  • sport weight yarn
  • 2 mm crochet hook

1.- 6 sc in a magic ring, fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

TO MAKE POKEHEART MASTER

Pink Worsted weight yarn 4 mm crochet hook

1.- 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

2.- inc in each st around (12)

3.- * 1 sc, inc * rep 6 times (18)

fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing,  between round 6 to 12

with white yarn we embroider an M in the middle.

 

TO MAKE POKEHEART GREAT

Red  Worsted weight yarn 4 mm crochet hook

ch 9

Start in the second ch from the hook and sc 8.  fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing,  between round 7 to 11
